It depends on liquid consistency. A buyout platform helps solving this issue. We recommend testing case by case and contacting Haltian first for support and expertise. 

No, our pricing does not include installation costs, shipping or applicable taxes. 

There are two ways to extract data from Thingsee IoT devices.

1. Directly from the IoT dashboard. In case you have applications like Device Pilot, Splunk, Thingsboard or Wapice check our tutorial on how to connect Thingsee IoT to IoT dashboards.
2. By connecting to IoT endpoints. If, on the other hand, you want to connect Thingsee IoT devices to cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Warp10 or over open MQTT) and extract or connect the data to your own system then give a look at our tutorials on how to connect Thingsee IoT to IoT data endpoints.

 Installation instructions are available in devices installation guides (under tutorials) and there are also installation videos available. 

You will receive MQTT credentials from Haltian to access the sensor data 

Wirepas Mesh is a low-power wireless connectivity protocol. It is based on mesh network architecture which means that all the nodes in the network are homogenous and make all the decisions locally according to the local radio environment. Wirepas operates unlicensed frequencies like 2.4GHz, 865MHz, 868MHz, 870Mhz and 915MHz. It depends on use case and sensors installation place. Find more information in Thingsee PRESENCE documentation. 

By default, Thingsee Presence sends data every minute. In occupancy mode it sends data when movement is observed and when movement ends. In occupancy mode it sends data also once in two hours (this will be changed when new release is out- need update) 

Other Thingsee sensors have 5 minutes measurement interval, but it’s not reported if there is not big enough change from previous reported measurement. All measurements are reported once in an hour.

Thingsee PRESENCE is observing movement based on temperature difference. If an object is warmer than the environment it’s observed.

 The gateway requires that some ports are open in the network firewall. The ports must be open for outbound connections. Check port configuration document for more information. 

Thingsee GATEWAY GLOBAL uses the following bands LTE Cat M1 bands 2,3,4,5,8,12,13,20; LTE NB IoT bands 2,3,4,5,8,12,13,20 ;2G GPRS/EGPRS 850/900 MHz and 2G GPRS/EGPRS 1800/1900 MHz. For more information check here. 

If your device is malfunctioning, contact Haltian Support. If we’re unable to get the issue resolved, we’ll initiate a return and drop ship you a replacement device. 

Thingsee PESENCE is quite accurate with its detecting capabilities. For more information on the detection capabilities read the documentation.

Haltian manufactures its devices near their headquarters – Oulu, Finland. Your devices will be shipped either from our office in Oulu.
